I sat down with TL Rader from Daytime Ottawa on Friday to chat about all the fun styles I saw in Paris, and gave some ideas of how to get the style here in Ottawa!
Retro 70s is back in a BIG way this season, and will be this fall too - so what better way to bring in the summer than jumping on the retro band wagon?
The last couple of days we went through the Louvre, to the French Open Pre-Lims (where we watched Canada beat the US in women's - who hoo!! Go Canada!), walked around our district (Opera), caught the light show at the Eiffel Tower and a cruised around the Seine!
...And of course ate some AMAZING food!

DVF, Gucci, Prada, Dior, D&G... you name it, popsicle brights are everywhere this spring/summer so why not join in the fun?
As I mentioned last week, you can do colour blocking in either an existing pattern within a dress, top or skirt or in separates like I've done here.
Fedora's are everywhere this summer so why not try one on for size? I'm certainly not a hat person, but I couldn't resist this adorable hat! Just make sure it's a simple colour that you can wear with several looks, and fits your face shape properly.

If you're doing bold colours in your apparel, use neutral accessories to balance them out, like I did here with nude pumps and a nude/rose gold clutch.
