MANSDAYS: Bordeaux

These Bordeaux pants are AH-MAZING. Great for the office or worn casually. I think most men assume office means suiting, but in the last decade fashion for work has changed dramatically. Yes, there are times when a full suit is necessary, but often a look like this is more than appropriate.

I'm a girl about texture, but I'm also a lover of mixing prints. Here I did it in a more subtle way with the tie, sweater and dress shirt combo. Both the tie and dress shirt had variations of polka dots and the sweater has a knit dotted texture as well. Because all three pieces were of the same basic pattern, I added plaid in the hat and striped in the scarf. As always, the best way to create this look is by ensuring the patterns are in the same colours. In this case we did the bordeaux, grey and black as the main colour focus.
