Pastels are king this season, and my favourite colour is clearly mint green - looks great on everyone! I bought this top while attending NYFW in February and it's been a great addition to my wardrobe. Add a deep lip to off-set the creamy colours.

High Tea with Shepherd's Fashion

This past Sunday I had the fun opportunity to head over for High Tea at the Fairmont Château Laurier in the heart of downtown Ottawa. With the Royals one-year anniversary this week, I wanted to go in true British style with Shepherd's fashion!

{Geometric Chemistry}

I really love how pants have become the new statement piece of an outfit this season... it will be sad to see this trend go. So in that case, I'm going to wear my coloured pants and patterned pants as much as possible over the next couple of months!

{Friends with Stripes}

I love pastels this season, but I don't always like it head to toe, so today I mixed it up with a peplum jacket in navy and blue stripes, and neutral accessories to make the jacket really pop.

Coachella Fashion Finds - Refinery 29

Ya, ya, we love the singers and performers playing at Coachella, but how fierce is this fashion!?

 

{Printed-Blocking}

Much like colour-blocking, using various prints in one look is also a big trend this spring. The key to doing this the right way, is by ensuring that they two patterns have the same colour themes. In this case, I used black and white in both stripes and geometric prints. If you're going to stick with basic colours like this, you can add pops of bold brights, like I did with the neon sandal and clutch.

I don't know about you but I am in love with all of the mint clothing available right now. Scarves, jackets, hats, sweaters and jeans; I want them all! Because the weather is still deciding what it wants to do, I thought I'd put my faux leather leggings on with the mint sweater/scarf combo to create a perfect transition look for the Easter weekend.
